Walking for Calm March Update

Well, I just realised it is mid April nearly and I forgot to write a monthly round up of my walking stats etc. Sorry about that, life has caught me a little off guard so far in April.
Walking for Calm March Update
So far March has been my best walking month, but I am still down. I need to get the dog on longer walks, and do them more often it seems. Anyway without further waffle, here are my stats for the month.
Totals
- Month Total: 111.76
- Year Total: 266.12
I’m getting there, and if I can keep progressing I’m sure I will make my boots on total. Incidentally, all miles are over 500, just shows how much I walk that is under 1 mile in distance or done at work/shops.
Walking for Calm March Update Highlights
With lots of snow and heavy rain March was quite a wash out, many of my walks were walking to and from work (it adds up a lot when it is over 4 miles each way). I did manage a few walks though. Mainly with the dog in tow.
My longest Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve walk got me a new patch bird, so that was nice. I took Colin for his most Snow Covered walk. I had some ;lovely action shots on another long patch walk. And finally made an early start just to photograph the sunrise.
Next months will be a bit sparser I am sure.
