Well that is February behind us now. Did you have a good one? I think lots of us (in the UK at least) had snow. We weren’t really hit in MK until March 1st. When it really came down. Beyond that I didn’t manage to get out much at the start of the month, colds, school holidays, and back issues all slowed down periods of the month. So I didn’t manage my total again.
Walking for Calm Feb Update
As I said I missed my target total again (it was so much easier last year with no puppy and counting all miles) but I felt I was getting back into the swing of things in the latter part of the month. And hopefully March will be even better, especially as it warms up.
So on to the actual facts and figures for the month:
- Feb Total: 73.1
- Year Total: 154.6
Donations are still at my original £50 so could really use your help getting the word out, or donating. [Links are lower down the page for that].
Incidentally I’ve walked in total 314 miles all miles included, just shows how much walking can be done without much effort.
Walking for Calm Feb Update Highlights
As for the months highlights, well I mainly walked around my patch, or on school/work runs. But the patch walks were nice.
The month kicked off with an evening walk Chasing Sunsets.
My longest walk of the month was when I wandered beyond the patch – Swans Stonechats and Stuff.
And coldest walk was, well coldest walk was an evening walk that I didn’t blog about, but did take the title image of this post while on.
