Well, what can I say? I came home yesterday (after a long canal walk to Stoke Bruerne) to an email from the team at the Go Outdoors awards informing me that this little old blog had been nominated for Best Outdoor Blog 2017!

UPDATE

Sadly we did not win, but rather than be down about that I am just happy that we were nominated in the first instance. It was my first shortlist after all. Maybe next time we can go one step further and win.

Anyway I did come second in a local photography competition for the local fireworks. On my first attempt at taking the pictures. So it is swings and round a bouts really.
