Introducing The Patch

Introducing The Patch

Over the course of 2016 I spent some time writing introductions to various areas of my humble little patch. A way of virtually showing you around, so to speak. The area in and around the Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve (formerly Manor Farm). Located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, around the Wolverton, Old Wolverton, Wolverton Mill area (near Cosgrove and Haversham).

Introducing The Patch

Each post (Posted once a month through the year) will cover one small area of the patch in more detail. And was posted as a regular blog post (on a day where I have nothing else to post).

Each introduction page gives a brief description of the area. Details some of the better birds, and other wildlife, that has been seen there. And also contains a collection of my favourite photographs of the area. There is also a map, and, where applicable, a little of the history if I think it warrants it (some areas will more than others).

Below you will find links to each of those pages. Collected here for ease of navigation at a later date (should you so wish).
