Walking for Calm April Update

Walking for Calm April Update

It has been a strange month. I have walked more this month than any other so far this year. In fact this is the first month I have managed to pas my target miles! But I don’t feel like I have got out much. Sadly most of my walking has been to and from work. Great for adding the miles (4.1 miles each way), but not so great for the soul. Although any time outside is good for my health.

As mentioned I passed my 125 mile monthly target for the first time this year. Actually I need to walk 139 a month for the rest of the year due to slow progress in the first few months. But I even passed that!

Even better I had my first, non family member, donation to my walking. And it feels great.

Walking for Calm April Update Highlights

So this months highlights, well… A little writers block meant I didn’t write very much at all. In fact there was only one post, that was about a walk – Late Spring at the Floodplain Forest. Although not my only walk, the only one I wrote about. Other highlights included Whinchat on the patch, but that has nothing to do with this post.
