This was a stunning bird and I love this image, I think it captures the bird as well as the environment really well, one of my favourite bird photos ever!

  1. It is stunning, Milton! Very nicely captured. I love it when birds fluff up like that, they look so different! And, wow, I wouldn't want to mess with that barbed wire!

    1. The colours look great when printed as well :)

      The barbed wire does look threatening, but I think it's the angle it is seen at as it's just standard stuff

  2. I agree with you about how wonderful this image is! Perfectly focused....perfectly perched bird. I live in barbed wire country, but I agree that this particular wire has the most impressive barbs!

    1. It is one of my favourite I have ever taken (plan on a large version printed and framed in my home soon, just need to convince everyone at home).
