Off to the British Bird Fair

Last years team with Bill Oddie (I took the photo)
This week sees myself and my other half off to the British Birdwatching Fair at Rutland water. For those who don't know what this is it is the largest gathering of birdwatchers anywhere in the world over 3 days to visit the talks and stands of hundreds of organisations, there are celebs (Chris Packham and Bill Oddie for sure this year) as well as people most of you won't have heard of, and it is a great event that raises huge amounts for charity each year.

Our Visit

Our visit to the bird fair (we will be there Thursday to Sunday) is in our roles for the charity Birding For All, we will both be working selling raffle tickets (a list of prizes below), talking to people about what we do and generally socialising with friends and family from all over the world. If you are there plese stop by Marquee 4 stal 12 & 13 (Birding For All & Fatbirder) and say hello, I'd love to meet people who read this blog.

Last years team with Nick Baker (again I took the photo so not in it)

# A Stunning Long-tailed Tit painting by Ian Griffiths
